The Limassol side continue the perfect start to the season making it 5 out of 5 with another big win. The attacking side are not short of goals and show off with another display of 5 goals. The game feels like it ended as it had just started as the referee's decision played a big part in determining the flow of the game in Apollon's favour. The game turned to be a one way street as the Ermis goal was pelted by shot after shot. Do not let the early penalty and sending off to take away from superior Apollon as the form of both clubs speaks volumes as they sit at both ends of the standings so let the result never be in doubt.

Apollon started attacking from the first whistle which resulted in an early foul inside the penalty box. The result was a penalty given to Apollon and a sending off to Kuagica. The penalty was converted by Zelaya in the 10th minute and the 10 men Ermis could not handle Apollon attacks as the first half ended by the score 0f 4-0. A forced own goal in the 12th minute after good work by Anton Maglica. Facundo Pereyra got a tap in after being set up by a pass across the goal by Joao Pedro in the 35th minute. At the 38th minute, Andre Schembri rounding up the first half with a turn and shoot being set up by Fancundo Pereyra. The first half ending by the big score of 4-0.

The same continued in the second half and the score could have become a bigger rout. The Apollon attacks only succeeding once as Anton Maglica got on the scoresheet at the end of the game with another clinical finish to make it another 5 goals. Ermis were very poor and had only one shot that was off target to show for the game.

Apollon's coach Sofronis Avgousti was delighted with the result and congratulated his players and is looking forward to the midweek European encounter with Eintracht Frankfurt. Ermis Aradipppou coach Kostas Kaifas suffered a heavy result tonight and will be in the mercy of the club administration as he faces the rumours of being replaced.
